Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Open Dock uses cookies and similar technologies on opendock.com.au, what each category does, and how you can change your choices at any time.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which works the same way for the purposes of this policy. They let a site remember your choices, keep sessions secure, and measure how pages perform.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function: protecting forms against abuse, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off and are set on the lawful basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying measurement of page views, traffic sources and on-page behaviour so we can improve content and performance. Only set if you consent.
- Marketing. Measuring the performance of business campaigns and presenting relevant Open Dock content on third-party platforms. Only set if you consent.
3. First and third party
Strictly necessary cookies are set by Open Dock. Analytics and marketing technologies may be provided by third parties, which may process limited technical data (such as IP address and user agent) outside Australia. We only enable them after you consent. Our Privacy Policy explains cross-border handling in more detail.
4. The Open Dock internal system
The internal operating system used by our team is a separate, access-controlled application. It uses strictly necessary cookies only, authentication and session security, and does not run analytics or marketing cookies.
5. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics on this website. Plausible is a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service: it sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregate page views, referrers and country-level location only. Because it is cookieless, it runs whether or not you accept optional cookies.
6. Retention
Your cookie choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again. Analytics identifiers typically expire within 24 months. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
7. Changing your choice
You can update your preferences at any time using the button below, or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop forms from working.
8. Contact
